TEAM
HIGHLIGHTS
Through
August 3, 2005, members of our road team have accounted
for not less than 10 first place finishes, 6 second
place finishes, 14 podium finishes and more than 44
top ten finishes in USCF events. Our Norba riders
have accounted for not less that 34 first place finishes,
28 second place finishes, 10 third place finishes
and 12 top ten finishes. In addition to our competitive
results, our club has enjoyed heavy participation
in local and regional rides such as Bridge to Bridge
and Blood, Sweat and Gears. We also had two riders
who represented the club in the Norba Nationals in
California this Fall. We also:

Assisted with and appeared at local Special Olympics
Events

Appeared at the Walk/Run to Prevent Childhood Obesity
- distributed free water bottles to several hundred
school children

Co-sponsor and provide support for the Dixie Classic
Criterium Series in Winston-Salem, North Carolina

Co-sponsor and provide support for the Tour De Gaps
ride in Mount Airy, North Carolina which features
an 89 mile ride with over 10,000 feet of climbing
over 4 gaps along the Blue Ridge.
